The apartment was an old-style Penta house located in the central area of Milano. The new owner, a young couple with a baby, wants to maintain the vintage atmosphere mixed up with a contemporary style. The plan has been re-arranged in order to satisfy the client needs and to create a functional layout: the kitchen area has been enlarged, the number of bathrooms has been increased, the bedrooms have been moved on the internal side of the building and the studio on the street view, connected directly with the living room. The colours of the interiors are bright, with marble on the floor, white finish, glass and metal materials, with some elements to warm the atmosphere as parquet, wooden and vintage furniture, blue coloured accessories. The project is a successful balance between a new rational plan and a customised interior design.
